Large Household Contest

CONTEST RULES

1. Participants from large households can enter the contest by filling out the Navigating Tomorrow Survey-Large Household Contest and providing consent at the end of the survey.

2. Large households are defined as households that have four or more (4+) adult members, over the age of 18 years where each of the four or more members choose any of the three methods (website, call center, rMove app ) to complete the survey.

3. This contest runs from October 21, 2025 at 12:01 a.m. to December 02, 2026, at 11:59 p.m, Mountain Time.

4. There is no charge or purchase required to enter the contest. The chances of winning are dependent on the number of eligible participants.

5. One entry per household is allowed. Any subsequent postings will not be entered into the contest. Subject to section 8 below, the contest is open to anyone:

6. Any entrant found to be using multiple accounts to enter the contest will be ineligible.

7. This contest is sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, the City of Edmonton, the City of Leduc, the City of St Albert, the City of Spruce Grove, the City of Fort Saskatchewan, the City of Beaumont, the Town of Devon, the Parkland County, the Town of Stony Plain, the Leduc County, the Strathcona County, the Sturgeon County and/or the Government of Alberta, and by entering this contest you agree to fully release the City of Edmonton, the City of Leduc, the City of St Albert, the City of Spruce Grove, the City of Fort Saskatchewan, the City of Beaumont, the Town of Devon, the Parkland County, the Town of Stony Plain, the Leduc County, the Strathcona County, the Sturgeon County and/or the Government of Alberta from any responsibility or liability arising from this contest.

8. The contest is not open to officials, directors, officers, employees, agents, administrators, or other representatives of the City of Edmonton, the City of Leduc, the City of St Albert, the City of Spruce Grove, the City of Fort Saskatchewan, the City of Beaumont, the Town of Devon, the Parkland County, the Town of Stony Plain, the Leduc County, the Strathcona County, the Sturgeon County and/or the Government of Alberta.

9. Winners will be randomly drawn from eligible entries on Tuesday, December 15, 2026, at 10 a.m., Mountain Time. Winners will be notified by email. Each household is eligible to receive one prize only.

10. In order to receive the prize, the contest winner must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question, and sign a contest release form confirming compliance with the contest rules and releasing the City of Edmonton, the City of Leduc, the City of St Albert, the City of Spruce Grove, the City of Fort Saskatchewan, the City of Beaumont, the Town of Devon, the Parkland County, the Town of Stony Plain, the Leduc County, the Strathcona County, the Sturgeon County and/or the Government of Alberta their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, insurers, and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest or prize won, including but not limited to any travel related thereto.

11. Return of any prize notification email as undeliverable or failure of the prize winner to respond to the prize notification and successfully answer the skill-testing question within fifteen (15) business days of notification of selection may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

12. Contest winners must retrieve prizes during regular weekday business hours (Edmonton Tower; 10111-104 Avenue; 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Mountain Time).

13. Non-compliance within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Contest winners must make arrangements to pick up their prizes in advance of their attendance at Edmonton Tower.

14. The City of Edmonton reserves the right to refuse, withdraw, or disqualify any entry at any time at its sole discretion.

15. The City of Edmonton is not responsible for any technical problem that may result in incorrect or missing/lost entries to the contest.

16. Entrants agree to abide by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of the contest judge, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this contest. By entering, participants release and hold harmless The City of Edmonton, the City of Leduc, the City of St Albert, the City of Spruce Grove, the City of Fort Saskatchewan, the City of Beaumont, the Town of Devon, the Parkland County, the Town of Stony Plain, the Leduc County, the Strathcona County, the Sturgeon County and/or the Government of Alberta their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, insurers, and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this giveaway or prize won, including but not limited to any travel related thereto.

17. Your personal information is collected in accordance with section 4(c) of the Protection of Privacy Act (POPA) and is managed and protected in accordance with the Act. The personal information you share will be used for the purposes of administering the Edmonton Metropolitan Region’s Navigating Tomorrow Survey- Large Household Contest. The City intends to input the information into an automated system to generate content or make decisions, recommendations or predictions in accordance with the City of Edmonton Generative AI Standard.
